Gender Politics

There's a quote from Coupling where Steve looks at at Patrick and says something like, "You have the gender politics of a Viking Attack!"

That's what I think of this book that a colleague of mine mentioned to me today. I had been talking about how with me and my girlfriends it alwasy seemed like we'd identify a guy we were interested in and leave all the stepping stones straight to our door in the right order so that he'd follow them, and think he was the one driving the relationship. My colleague then threw in the fact that he was reading "The Game" but didn't necessarily endorse it as a concept.
