More on literacy (Blogging too)

There is an interesting wired article about how literacy is on the decline, and how it is (atleast partly) technologies fault. The author attacks email (and IM and texting in the same bucket) as well as the short attention spans.

I was ammused by his attack on acronyms (especially WYSIWYG) and his attack on calculators in math class... I'd love to see him take some of the math I took without a calculator...
