Non-Sports Competition

I've always maintained that in non-sports related competition, that women and men for the most part operate differently.

Take dating. Two guys who are aquaintances - friends even, see a pretty girl and they both go for her. First one to the finish line wins.
Two girls on the other hand, will take eachother OUT and the hot guy in question won't even know.

I wrote a little bit of a stream-of-conciousness piece on my LJ about this, relating specifically to something in my life at the moment. So feel free to comment in either space if you feel like it.
